World Wide Searches, are you getting your cut of them?     Google: 88 billion per month     Twitter: 19 billion per month     Yahoo: 9.4 billion per month     Bing: 4.1 billion per month Google with 67% of the search market, 131 billion searches up 58% from 87.8 billion in 2008. Twitter takes the number 2 spot but not considered a search engine. Yahoo 7% of the market share with a 13% increase in 2009. Bing took 4.1% of the searches with a 71% growth as of Dec. for 2009 These are numbers from comScore and Danny’s genius that figured these numbers out. Google has 90% of the marketplace except in China, Russia, Korea, and the Czech Republic. Keep in mind the top 2 organic spots get about 88% of the clicks on a search page.
